The extrordinary shadow puppet collection of Yang Fei and Li Shuwen (featured in A Life in Shadows) contains a variety of hide puppets from the late Ming, Qing, Republican, and Revolutionary periods. Commonfolk China is searching for interested publishers to create a coffee-table art book of Yang's fine collection combined with text by him and other scholars of Chinese Shadowplay.
